Public Consultation Exercise - Wycombe SnowDome
Redevelopment of the Wycombe Summit Ski Centre into an Indoor Real Snow Centre.
There is a Public Consultation Exercise that is being held in respect of the above-proposed development. SnowDome Group Limited will be submitting a planning application to Wycombe District Council for the redevelopment of the existing Wycombe Summit dry ski slope. It is the intention to redevelop the venue so as to create an indoor real snow sport and leisure venue.
The applicant (for planning consent) is SnowDome Group Limited. This is the parent company that owns and trades the SnowDome in Tamworth, near Birmingham . SnowDome Group Limited also owns the Wycombe Summit business.
The Wycombe SnowDome proposal features indoor snow slopes, children's snow play, an ice skating rink, rock climbing and bars and restaurants. The proposed development also features formalised nature trails through the adjacent Deangarden Wood.
Prior to submitting any planning application the applicant is keen to receive the views of the local community and to this end there will be a public exhibition and display held at: -
The Environment Centre. Holywell Mead (the Rye ), Bassetsbury Lane , High Wycombe . HP11 1QX.
This exhibition and display will take place for a period of 7 continuous days commencing Sunday 15 th October as follows: -
Sunday 15 th October. 12 noon to 5pm.
Monday 16 th October. 2pm to 8pm.
Tuesday 17 th October. 1pm to 6pm.
Wednesday 18 th October. 2pm to 8pm.
Thursday 19 th October. 10am to 4pm.
Friday 20 th October. 12 noon to 6pm.
Saturday 21 st October. 12 noon to 5pm.
At the exhibition and display there will be drawings, computer modelled visuals of the proposed development and additional information such as finishes and materials used.
Directors and/or Senior Managers of SnowDome Group Limited will be present in person throughout these exhibition times and would be pleased to hear your views and answer any of your questions on the proposals.
